Nuclear power illegal

All planning consents are contingent on the station having adequate insurance. After Chernobyl, this number was 40 billion UK pounds. No insurance above 1 billion available.
So the Power Station Regulator had the legal imperative to issue immediate stop orders. Even today the House of Lords can force the regulator to issue immediate stop orders.
After Fukishima this number rose to 100 billion. So all nuclear power stations should have ceased in 1984.

Nature does massive amounts of nuclear fusion every day using the turbulent flow of high pressure water or steam! Hence the massive amount of helium gas in the global air.
A 50x1cm steam plasma tube at 4 atmospheres will generate a constant 1.2 MW of heat, a turbine can turn into 200kW of electricity. Carbon 0, free power.
1 H2O+TU->E2+L+X-ray the X-rays are produced by conventional power stations today.
So Molecular Nuclear Fusion – 64 times as energetic as uranium fission, and totally non toxic. Utilising regular water – no enriched isotopes.
Hinkley's planning consent was for Hinkley A. Which was demolished in 2006. Hinkley B was an illegal extension to a now demolished plant – no planning consent for a decade.
The plant managers get a fine of 10 million and 10 years in jail for every year of illegal operation – going back to 1990 – when the planning consent for Hinkley A ran out.
Stillwell's planning consent lapsed 1984 – with Chernobyl. It has operated ever since with no planning consent.
Any new nuclear plant would require a Royal Commission. That nuclear power has been so desperate to avoid, it ran outside of planning consent.

So all nuclear plants must instantly stop operating, and be demolished. Which will cost 4 times more than they took to build. And nuclear power does not have the money to pay for.
