Helical turbulence is fusion.


Passing steam up a metal helix does Molecular Nuclear Fusion: so a double helical heat exchanger is very efficeint
A simple heat balance will show that the steam cools down, less than the other gas heats! A Geiger counter will show the release of X-rays. And we will get He and O gaes.

So my PhD supervisor told me how to do Molecular Nuclear Fusion – without realising,.
If we Ti plate the steam circuit, we will get an extra 40oC, rather than the 20oC we get now. A steam plasma gives us a lot more heat.
A 50x1cm steam plasma at 4 atmospheres gives us 1.2 MW, 800oC! So rather than burn Fossil Fuels, we fire up a steam plasma.

A double helical heat exchanger does Molecular Nuclear Fusion – 12 years before prof Argent came up with the name. 8 years after I thought of it.
