Making natural gas


We use the Sabatier process – published in 1910. At 1 atmosphere, and 350oC, CO2 and steam unburn! We get methane and oxygen.
1 CO2+3(H2O)+T+E->CH4+He+O3
Now people are using gas as a heat source today. But here we make gas in a town or city. We chill the CO2 from the air, and add it to regular steam. One large reactor vessel – and we have to separate the gasses. Gas will not burn at low pressure.
So we suck CO2 from the air – and turn it into natural gas.  It is that cheap and simple.  No fracking, no piping the gas 100s of miles: make it where you need it.
And as it only releases the CO2 taken to form it when burnt, it is a carbon 0 fuel.
We supply the heat from a steam plasma tube.

1.2MW of heat from a 50x1cm steam plasma at 4 atmospheres.  Start the plasma using the electrics from a fluorescent light.  It then self sustains.  Molecular nuclear fusion.  On Earth, today.  Every 3 minutes, in a natural lightening strike.
