Man makes heat, and uses this heat to generate power. But burning Fossil Fuels releases CO2, and is dirty. Petrol and diesel engines also make nitrous oxides – NO and NO2. Burning wood is a far more potent source of NOx.
Both CO2 and NOx react with natural rain, to fall to the ground as weak acids. Plants take in carbolic acid, and fertilised by nitrous and nitric acids, building plant bulk.
So CO2 is fixed at a pre-industrial 2 parts per million: in a natural ice age, free average global CO2 rises to 4ppm – like is it above the Arctics now.
The Jurassic had 4ppm CO2 in the air. 65% more life, and sea levels 60 meters LOWER. 85% of this life formed the Fossil Fuels, at the mass extinction.
There is another way to get at carbon heat – burn natural gas. Fracking off shore turns underground coal reserves, into CH4 – methane – natural gas
We can chill CO2 from the ground, and fix it with steam heated to 350oC, by a steam plasma tube. Eureka – free gas. Sorry to all the scientists who sent me this idea, when I was busy with my singing job.
Or we could just use the steam plasma tube to get directly at heat.
2 H++e- ->n0 burn the hydrogens into neutrons
3 16O2++4n0 ->8H++6e- that burn the oxygen ions into more hydrogens
This process is twice as efficient as Molecular Nuclear Fusion: lightening use a 1.5km steam plasma to do Molecular Nuclear Fusion. And so produce 5 tonnes of helium. And energy release 2.5x1030W.
So a 50x1c, steam plasma should release 2.4MW. And self sustain once started, at 4 atmospheres.
So this is equivalent to 260 1m oil burners – from a 50x1cm steam plasma. Which will get through 10-12cc of regular water a year: we will struggle to measure.
Power with no CO2, NOx or hyper toxic radioactive waste.
I told Sheffield University about Molecular Nuclear Fusion in 2001 = they ended my PhD with no award. This would have demolished the notion of man-made Climate Change, before it was even though of.
And it means, oil or gas burners are totally redundant technology. Borrow the electronics from a fluorescent light, and join the fee energy revolution.
