If we have water vapour in turbulent flow at 10 atmosphere, it will diesel.
Diesel oil diesels at 8 atmospheres
Rudolf Diesel did his work using peanut oil – bio-oil. So here we can run it off water. On a ship, we use the exit steam to boil oss sea water, and feed this steam into the engine – dumping the excess brine back into the sea.
So the most efficient engine in the world will run off water: I was told about this in 2001, but had no time to follow it up at Sheffield University. So the PhD thesis will already have been written.
Read http://strey.pc.uni-koeln.de/206.html?&L=1. This seems to be about macro emulsions and the diesel cycle.
So we get the most efficient engine on the planet, running off sea oil. No fuel – no CO2. Sience worked out 16 years ago.
To double the efficiency of the diesel engine, titanium plate the cylinder body and head – as Ti catalyses Molecular Nuclear Fusion. Taught to me at Sheffield 1983 (sic)!
On land, we run the engine off river water. And utilise so little of it, effectively we discharge the same volume back into the river – power with no CO2. Already engineered. The water Diesel: Thanks Rudolf Diesel.
