Saudi Arabia next Venezuela

Saudi needs oil prices to be above $60. But the world knows about Molecular Nuclear Fusion. A 50x1cm steam plasma produces 1.2 MW of heat – from regular water.
Which will generate over 200 kW or carbon 0 electricity. Burning oil produces CO2, and only 45 kW/m – so energy deficient.
So we have seen massive market support – which has spent all Saudi Arabians foreign reserves. As Margaret Thatcher said 'you don't fool the markets'.
Oil and gas are energy poor, and over prices. Water falls from the sky for free. The plasma will use 10-17cc of regular water a year – we will struggle to measure it. We just maintain the plasma pressure at 4 atmospheres.
So Audi has never diversified – it assumes oil would always remain at over $100 a barrel.
No more. It is head toward $0, with 0 tonnes being shipped.

A 25x1cm steam plasma at 4 bars produces 600 kW of heat, and the power to drive a small helicopter – with no need ever to refuel. Ford and the rest had better get busy, or they will go the same way as Venezuela. Bankruptcy and economic melt down. Saudi is already there.
