Reducing fossil fuel burn

In the 18th century the Rev. Sterling developed the heat pump. We can use this to cool the steam after turbine, to condense the steam back to water and make the steam cycle work.

We then pressurise the Carnot gas and return 90% of the system heat to the boiler room. We then need to burn only only a ninth of the fossil fuels to produce the same power.
